If you spend a decent amount of time online, chances are you have heard of a “fidget spinner”. Don’t get what the point is? Neither do I! One thing I know for sure is that they are a pretty fun cat toy!
What Is a Fidget Spinner For?
Fidget spinners are for “fidgety” hands, a way to allow people to relieve tension and stress during work, at college, when they are stuck in traffic, or even just around the house. They are also recommended for people with anxiety and children who have issues with ADHD. They have become popular toys for just about anyone and now you can find them in just about any color, shape, and size under the sun.
Pointless Craze or Purrfect Cat Toy?
It may be a pointless “craze” for most, but something many people don’t consider is allowing their cat to play with a fidget spinner! YES! They actually do make pretty good cat toys for the right kitty. If you want to test one out for your cat, avoid any that are painted, are too sharp, or ones that can be easily taken apart.
You should avoid any with LEDs and also supervise when your cat is playing with a spinner just to be on the safe side. There’s no need to spend a lot but the more you do invest, the better the quality should be.

Whether you look at the scientific side of using a fidget spinner to relieve stress or just view it as another random trend that will be short-lived, I think we can all agree that cats look mighty cute playing with them!
