Cats need enzymes as well. We just lost our older cat a few months ago to pancreatitis so I know. As cats are obligate carnivores, their prey contains enzymes. Since we lost our oldest, I put my senior girl on an all-in-one multivitamin/enzymes/probiotics. I leave her grain free kibble beside the water fountain when I goto work and when I goto bed. Her main meals are Friskies. I know it’s bad but that’s all she eats. Although I may try Soulistic again, that stuff is wonderful although pricey.

In reply to Sienna Stone. The grains part is true based on scientific evidence, but the "dry" part of that statement is not factual. Raw foods are the best for dogs and cats, but not very realistic or affordable for most people.

Dry food and grain are the WORST thing to feed any cat. Doesn’t matter if it’s a high quality or not.
